Learning Object Handler

Purpose: Allocate, tag, and distribute educational resources through the M1 and DU interfaces.
Method: Process content using standardized meta-data for learning objects.
Specifications: IMS meta-data ver. 1.3 and SCORM 3rd edition
Description: In the figure below, we find M1 & DU native portals using a centralized process for importing learning content as standardized learning objects.



Producers of standardized learning objects require no processing or storing and meta-data can be collected  directly.

Innovation: Use DOI system to standardize indexing of educational resources. 
Innovation: Use  a "multi-linking" feature similar to Linkstorms to increase interface efficiency.
