As money systems continue to erode and lose their value due to ever increasing interest, their fiat nature, and the effects of globalization (the Information Age); individual communities will be forced to develop alternatives that:

1. Keep "value" in the community,
2. Are asset backed - by labor or goods - substance,
3. Reflect the values of the community,
4. Are locally accessible, yet internationally translatable using the Internet,
5. Respect the natural rights (usually called Human Rights) of each individual in the community.
