In the navigation bar to your left you will find Portals that exemplify the various ways in which ManyOne Portals may be used, and all for free. Beta Users, not Agents of ManyOne, built portals listed here; therefore each is an empirical example of not only what can be done, but also what people just like you have done with the tools provided.
ManyOne is a platform that serves individuals, groups, community, and businesses; in other words, everyone. Not sure how you should use it? This Portal offers some fine examples.
Portal Uses:
Individual Business:
Example A) Monterey Graphics:
Perhaps you have an individual business, or are part of a larger business structure, and you want your own personal marketing website.

Amnesty is a excellent example of a global enterprise with multiple regional and local offices or projects across the globe. They are using the ManyOne platform to provide a common meeting place where each group can more effectively integrate with the global enterprise, regional projects, and local members.

Pax Natura is a excellent example of a organization with a lot of different content Topic areas to be addressed and organized aesthetically, with the ability to add mltiple content contributors to fill out the various sections. Additionally, they have successfully built other Portals that have been added to their main Portal topic tree, and found other allies on the ManyOne public Internet utility.

Associations of Portals that wish to organize under a common Umbrella Portal can use The Peace Portal as an example of how the ManyOne system/taxonomy can be used to maximum benefit. This Portal has organized many Portals into their taxonomy in such a way as to include non-profit charities, corporations, cities, and individual contributions of unique worth; all by simply creating the proper Topic Containers in which to place either their own contributors content or a members individual Portal.
Communities:
Example) Cottage Grove:
Building a website that can address the needs of your local community? Use the taxonomy created here at Cottage Grove as an example of how to first organize so the community has a place to rally together, and they are also a excellent example of how to get their community involved. On their local radio station each week a whole show will be provided to train the town members on how to use and contribute to the system, the newspapers and major business owners are all involved – these guys are documenting the way!

This is a excellent example of how a Church, Ministry, or other organization with a “Message” and “Congregation” can finally have a free, easy to use, online gathering place for those they serve. You’ll notice this Ministry has a few auxiliaries, each of those fit neatly into the topic areas under Outreach and Education. One of the outreach programs was so big that instead of being a Topic it was given it’s own Portal, then inserted into the navigation (taxonomy) you see on your left.
Corporations: Market your corporation, products, and idea's! Ths is your global commercial marketplace, and corporations have a place too.
